Au Gratin Potatoes
Au Gratin Potatoes, also called the dauphinoise in France where it originated, is a simple and adaptable family style recipe typically made from potatoes and cream. There are many variations, but suffice it to say you can’t do it without cream (or sometimes cheese) and potatoes. No matter what, you must have the potatoes in the recipe.
This dish is super-easy and starts out with frozen hash browns. An excellent side dish for any holiday cooking! When you have more time there are many other potato dishes to explore on our website. I made the Au Gratin potatoes for my family the other night, and they loved it. The sour cream give it a real nice tangy taste. This is so much better then the box mix.
So happy it worked out for you!
